1st day printing with HS Portfolio Development class

My High School Portfolio Development class has a very eclectic group of students. They all have very different interests, but I was pleased to see their interests converge into the theme of line and body. I was also impressed to see how much this group was able to develop in one day. Most students didn't have any experience with printing, and I wanted to give them enough time to really experiment with the ink, make a couple mistakes and critique the process on their own. Our focus for this class was the body and contour line. The students all really put their own spin on the project. Artists of inspiration were Picasso, Kiki Smith and Matisse.
